I like how you've been cutting out that ecstacy of gold bullshit and the long ass intro. keep it up.

DJHaze596 November 1, 2011 at 10:26 AM

Well i used to just have it on Mondays & Fridays, but for now i'm going to just cut it like this for a while. The New Intro sucks dick.

Anon1sY2ETut November 1, 2011 at 10:26 AM

as much as i enjoy ant's impressions, quickness, technical knowledge, etc, his rants where he yells about having to pay taxes are increasingly unlistenable. if the country were made of people like him there would be no schools, hospitals or any things that exist for the public good. there would only exist things that feed people's personal selfish desires. the man is a fool.

anyway, thanks for your work dj haze.

@ Anon1sY2ETut

uh oh, here we go. When you get some Money in your Pocket, That Mindset of yours will change.

AQ2111 November 1, 2011 at 10:50 AM

Thanks Haze. Ant's rants have some merit to them, but comes off as a cranky old man. I live close to him, so I pay allot in taxes too. But his understanding of the economy and allot of other things is simple minded. His thinking about things like education especially show how dumb he is. I'd love to know if his doctor, lawyer, accountant are high school dropouts like him.

Super Jay November 1, 2011 at 11:26 AM

It's amazing to me how often people take what Anthony is saying and just make up their own interpretation as if he's speaking in loose metaphors. He never said he didn't want to pay taxes he said he doesn't want to pay MORE in taxes. So your argument that if people like him inhabited the rest of the county we'd have no schools is a moot point. We'd still pay taxes, we'd still have public schools, just stop bumping up our tax rate to pay for the government's financial mistakes.

Inch by inch we allow the government to invade our lives and we've become accepting of that. When they want to put up video cameras at traffic lights everyone is okay with that, "hey I'm not speeding." When they want to put up video cameras on street corners we're okay with that, "hey I'm not kidnapping kids." When they want to tax us a little bit each year we all say we're okay with that cause "it's going to a good place and what's a tiny 1 percent extra if it goes to help someone out." Right? Eventually you have to draw a line in the sand and say enough is enough. You've taken enough of my money so stop trying to take more.

Take the average person that works 40 hours a week. That person is trading 40 hours of his life to the company he works for in exchange for monetary compensation. His company places a value on him for X amount of dollars an hour and that person does labor for that company and they pay him. However, before he can start pulling a wage for himself the government says that you have to work for them and for free. Every time you look at your paycheck and see how much the government takes out that amount is equaled to the amount of life you've just given up for free. The hours you spent toiling at work is first given over to the government before you can start earning a wage for yourself. The money you make on your paycheck is earned by moments of you life that you can never get back. Next time you go buy a bottle of whiskey and it costs 20 bucks you need to consider that that 20 bucks is how many moments of your life and whether or not that bottle is worth it.

And I, for one, don't think that it's okay for the government to FORCE me to live for someone else that is either unable or unwilling to live for themselves.

When your income tax goes to social programs the government is forcing you to live for someone else, which is immoral. And even though it is a small percentage right now the government wants to bump that up to pay for universal health care and other social programs.

Now you tell me if Anthony is crazy in saying that he doesn't want to keep getting taxed more and more each year. The issue is on principles and the issue is of force.
A man should have the right to live for himself alone.

Anthony has been saying that the government has to stop the tax and spend. Stop spending on research into why pizza burns the roof of your mouth. Stop taxing me for the government's financial mistakes.

If anyone really and truly thinks your tax dollars go to build schools and hospitals you my friend are quite delusional.

It is know as the Comprehensive Annual Financial Report (CAFR, pronounced "cay-fer")every government entity and school has one. From city level right on up the the federal level.

Most people have heard of the budget, which is the document that plans and authorizes the spending of money. The CAFR describes what actually was spent and the status of Assets and Liabilities at the end of the fiscal year.

When you take a look @ a governments assets will find BILLIONS & BILLIONS of your money that the the governments use to make investments, buy stocks and bonds, make loans, and a host other things.

A guy by the name of Walter Burien(cafr1.com) first blow the whistle on this back in 1998.

Governments are sitting on so much money that most bond projects that are approved, the gov't buys it's own bonds and charges itself a nice interest rate to do so because they have so much money to put to work.

My state of FL sitting on 9 billion in its investments account big state like CA,TX are easily sitting on twice that.

Who does that money belong to?

betterthanyou November 1, 2011 at 4:44 PM

Arguments for less government are naive. Without the big bad government you fear so much who would protect you from every asshole looking to turn a dollar (which is the real problem with this country) 'Job Creators' do not have a vested interest in society besides exploiting it for profit.

Namingishard November 1, 2011 at 4:50 PM

Hah why do you listen to this show when every episode you upload you have something negative to say. Do you even enjoy listening or do you have some kind of mental disorder that makes you upload these shows everyday

jimmah120 November 1, 2011 at 5:57 PM

Just fixing up my prior post a bit;

The wealth disparity isn't due to huge salaries. Most of the super wealthy that are this so called 1% actually draw maybe low six figures or even far less. I think even Steve Jobs pulled in a $1 a year salary for awhile. Their money is earned in huge bonuses which are taxed at a far lower rate, stock options (also taxed at a far lower rate) and so on. Democrats and Republicans both use the income tax debate in order to dredge up conflict which brings voters out to the polls. You can't have the two sides agree on something simple. IE, lower the income tax rate and eliminate those tax loop holes, that would probably come out with the same amount of cash, if not more, while putting more money in the pocket of those who buy a majority of goods in this country and consequently create jobs.

So, while I understand Ant's anger at things, the Republicans aren't going to help him any. It's not even going to come down to someone as crazy as Ron Paul. Just someone who's willing to play a political game other than conflict or insane. A little reason would go a long way.

@ Namingishard

Love that Statement. What i can't Dislike or Disagree with a Guest or a Comment? To me that's me True Fan. Your the type that's Brain Washed & Ride O&A Dicks no matter what they say. Just like those Suck up Callers who will Agree with everything they say. That's not a True fan. That's an Obsess person. Disagreement is apart of being Human.

That's why Opie's "Love the Show But" Argument is Terrible. They DO Love the Show, but the Subject you happen to be talking about, They just Disagree with. It's very simple. So go Fuck yourself. I understand not every guest is gotta be as good as Vos, Bob Kelly, Etc.. But Chuck Offered Nothing in my OPINION. I'm entitled to that right?

kAspA November 2, 2011 at 5:23 AM

wow after reading this very exiting... discussion in the comments I'm not sure if i want to listen to this one :) thanks anyway Haze

1) I like shows without opie, you can now feel his disdain for his job and he is not very funny (never was). Me and my friends call him das boot because he literally will STOMP a good joke into the ground.

2) anthony's tax rants are shit. all he cares is that HE doesnt get taxed. He lives in the mind set that "he" creates jobs. Mind you I have yet to see Ant & CO. shoes. Just because he hires some illegals to build a grill doesnt mean hes creating jobs. The middle class hire more independent workers than anyone but i am sure he would not mind seeing me get taxed. I agree taxes should not go up. Coorporations are where we need to hit. Make it cheaper tax wise to have jobs here, and tarrif the shit out of ones who dont Close loop holes (yeah right our gov is so cut in their pocket and were dumb enough to let it go on), treat corps like people, etc etc.
Lower taxes for the population, in turn we will buy more products and services. The corps will make their money back thats way.

ant needs a swift punch in the balls to remind him of where he came. Hes not any more talented than the last guy he just got lucky Ope brought him aboard or he would still be knocking tin and married to his jersey whore.

TEvil November 2, 2011 at 7:10 AM
